Upside down text FAQ

What is an upside down text generator?

An upside down text generator replaces supported characters with similar-looking Unicode glyphs and reverses their order to imitate text rotated 180 degrees.

How do I copy and paste upside down text?

Type or paste text, choose Flip 180°, and select Copy result. The output is ordinary Unicode text that can be pasted into most apps and websites.

Why do some characters stay unchanged?

Unicode has no convincing upside-down equivalent for every letter, symbol, emoji, or language. Tornic preserves unsupported graphemes unchanged instead of deleting or corrupting them.

Does upside down text work everywhere?

It works in most places that accept Unicode, but the exact appearance depends on the device, font, app, and accessibility software used to display it.

Is my text uploaded?

No. Transformation and copying run locally in your browser, and Tornic does not receive the text you enter.
