How to pick a color from an image

What is an image color picker?

An image color picker reads the exact color of a pixel you select in a photo, screenshot, or graphic and converts it into reusable color codes such as HEX, RGB, HSL, and OKLCH.

How do I find a HEX color from an image?

Upload or paste the image, then click or tap the pixel you want. The matching HEX value appears immediately and can be copied with one button.

Does resizing the preview change the sampled color?

No. Tornic maps your pointer back to the original image coordinates and reads that source pixel, even when the preview is scaled for a phone or small screen.

What is the difference between HEX, RGB, HSL, and OKLCH?

HEX and RGB encode sRGB channel values, HSL describes hue, saturation, and lightness, and OKLCH is a perceptual color space designed for more predictable lightness and color adjustments.

Is my image uploaded to Tornic?
